🌍 What the Event Is About
This delegation trip is a milestone in the vibrant partnership between Düsseldorf and Sekondi–Takoradi. Civil society leaders from Düsseldorf—led by 1-Weltnetz, Ghana Forum, and Ghana Council—will travel alongside state representatives to Ghana for a week of cultural exchange, strategic collaboration, and community engagement.
Participants will explore local initiatives, co-create solutions with Ghanaian partners, and deepen the ties between our cities through shared learning and sustainable development. The trip is rooted in the UN Sustainable Development Goals and aims to foster long-term cooperation across sectors including education, climate action, digital transformation, and cultural innovation.

The mission of this delegation trip is to build bridges—between cultures, institutions, and generations. By bringing together civic actors and government representatives, we aim to create a platform for meaningful dialogue, shared innovation, and lasting partnerships.
